Rob Lawson has transformed countless lives through his unwavering dedication to Skionee Board Team and AKA.  Over the past year, he  logged more than 100 hours as a new AKA member, working on the leadership committee for Skionee, working towards becoming an AKA rated driver, and assisting, without question,  beginner kneeboarders  mount and ride kneeboards.  He was instrumental with event set up, ensuring when participants arrived, they had an impressive welcoming experience.  He was onsite shortly after daylight, worked as a dock starter in the blazing Fl sun , where the only shade was realized  from  a large, brimmed hat, was well as remaining after the event as part of the roadie crew.   He did not miss any events or practices , even one that this  family was unable to attend. He pledged more participation for the 2025 season.  Rob was the largest raffle ticket selling for the win of an OB’rien Sozo kneeboard.  Tickets sales have ensured that 2025 funding is available to host another successful season.    Join Rob as an AKA volunteer.  Be part of re-inventing the American  Kneeboard Association.
