A champion is a person who gets up when he thinks he can't.

Clubs are perfect places to meet new people. Everyone who joins is looking to do the

same things. Take part in activities they’re interested in and be part of a community.

Membership dollars are used to support the club in many ways. Your dues help buy

gas for the boats and pay sanction fees so practices and events can be held. Equipment

expenses incurred by the club include boards, ropes, shock tubes, trick and slalom

courses, radios, time clocks, secretarial supplies and more.

Each member has the opportunity to use club owned equipment while at practices and

events. Skionee owns slalom and trick ropes, boards, and vests that are available for use

by those that have not yet purchased personal equipment. A slalom course is owned and

maintained throughout the year.

Skionee Board Team, formally known as MAP Kneeboard Team was formed in the early

1980’s. In the year 2000 the club re-organized becoming Skionee Board Team, at which

time it took on an Indian theme.

The club is known to be the largest and most active kneeboard club in the United

States. For 4 consecutive years the team won USA-WSWS Club of the Year contest,

surpassing over 700 clubs nation-wide, holding the title until the contest was retired.
